Работаю с программой "Парус" уже много лет. Были DOS-версии 3 и 4. Сейчас 7-ка, которую меняет версия 8 или 10 (как кому нравится). О "Парусе" можно говорить много и продуктивно. Так что начнем разговор!

А что, собственно, Вы намереваетесь обсудить? :) Ну да, многим Парус известен, но по-мне так уже пережиток. Или предполагается понастальгировать о родном интерфейсе софтины, с которой прожито так много? )))))

Софтина, как вы выражаетесь, вполне живучая. Отличие его от широко распиаренного 1С - закрытость кода. Для хозрасчетного "бардака" системы, где можно дописывать-переписывать интерфейсы очень даже нормально подходят. А в бюджетном учете, где более строгое регламентирование, как раз и нужны парусоподобная программа. Изменилось законодательство - "Парус" меняет отчетность, алгоритмы начислений, например.
Другое дело, что оперативность и качество доработок часто вызывают нарекания, но так это отдельная песня. Я не ностальгирую по "Парусу", я с ним работаю.
